Facebook Contacts Sync stops working after each reboot

Since installing CM7 my Droid 1 can only sync my contacts from the Facebook manually. Each time I reboot the phone the sync is no longer there and the contacts have been removed.

Any ideas?

I haven't seen this after every reboot, but every time I (supposedly) restore the FB app AND data, I have to go back in an turn the Sync back on. Same goes for restoring a backed-up ROM.

No problem after normal reboots though.

Make sure you haven't moved the Facebook app to SD. It must remain on the phone storage if you want the sync settings to remain.

Interesting. I have the Facebook app on the sd card, but I'm using Link2SD to do it, and I'm not seeing that problem. Just checked after a reboot and everything is intact.

As far as I know, it happens because the SD card takes time to be mounted in the beginning. Same reason you shouldn't store apps that you are using widgets with on the SD card. It might be a sporatic thing. I also haven't specifically used "Link2SD", but just the stock SD capabilities in CM7.

Thanks for that. I didn't even think of that. I had the same problem as the OP on both cyanmod 7.0.3 and liquid gingerbread 1.92 After moving the facebook app back to the phone Problem Solved =]
