Wipe cyanogenmod 6 lock screen settings

Anyone know how to wipe the lock screen setting? I had the option to hide the pattern dots enabled and I installed cyanogenmod 7. Can't find a way to undo setting. Is there a file I can reset?

/data/system/password.key?? I only mention that because I just looked at mine, it's size is 0 because I don't have a screen lock enabled... but when I had a PIN code I'm pretty sure that file was like 18 bytes or something like that. Worth a try.

OK. That's scary. I locked myself out of my phone by doing a clean wipe and install of Cyanogenmod 7.1 after using 7.1RC1. I used TitaniumBackup Pro to restore everything, and my PIN no longer worked, and I was locked out of my phone. I got back in by using "adb shell" and the following commands:

    Code:
    cd /data/system
    mv password.key password.bak
    reboot
I'm thankful to get back in my phone, but terrified at how easy it was to bypass the lock PIN.

That is kinda scary...but very useful info

Thankfully I'm sure that 95% of android users are unaware of it, and the newer phones probably have better ways of keeping it more hidden.
