    Wired Tethering help

    Ok, I never tried to use the wired tethering before. I am rooted, using CM7 (winner's build based on nightly 57). I am using Windows7, 64 bit.

    I connect the Droid to the PC using the USB cable and turn on the tethering. Then what do I do? How do I connect to the web? Can anyone give me a tutorial?

    Your computer should then say "new network detected" and either prompt you to connect or do it automatically.

    I've had no luck using the wired tether with CM7. Some have success by turning off the USB debugging...

    Turn off USB debugging, and make sure you have the right Motorola drivers installed on your PC.
