Facebook on CM7

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else is having problems syncing Facebook running CM7? I can't even set up the account to sync. My Google account is there, but if I try to add account, then click Facebook, it just goes back to the screen listing my accounts.

Try wiping out the cache and data for facebook via Settings, Applications, Manage Apps. Just a guess but it might help. To answer your question, it's working fine for me.

Open up facebook, go to settings, scroll to bottom > Sync Contacts (make your choice). After you click ok, you can go into settings > accounts & sync and your facebook account will now be listed.

Also, you may want to check in the htc incredible section if you don't find help here. This forum is for the og droid.

I notice sometimes I lose my facebook sync for some reason. I've never paid much attention to what's causing it. It may happen when I flash a new rom or it could be related to link2sd. If it continues to annoy me like I assume it will I will have to get to the bottom of it

That kept happening to me with the new version of facebook, 1.5.3, so I downgraded to 1.5.2 and it works fine. Do a search for older facebook apk's and you'll find them.

FB 1.5.3 definitely doesn't like CyanogenMod. Blows up with either CM6 or CM7. Works fine with stock, rooted FRG83G, and also works just fine with Bugless Beast. Fortunately for CM, I have 1.5.2 backed up with Titanium Backup, so I can just restore that when I boot a flavor of CM.

Mobile page is easier to use, anyway, IMO.

I got rid of facebook because it kept closing on me with cm7, I switched to the free version of flow and have had no problems.
