Random reboots while playing games

So I just had to have my og Droid replaced by one of verizons like-new replacement phones. I had been running bugless beast for the past year, but started having a lot of problems, so I decided to load cm7 rc4 on the new phone. It's blazing fast with good battery life, but nearly every time I go to play a game (mostly Nfs shift) the phone restarts after about 5 or 10 min of playing. Is there any reason why this could be happening?

Maybe kernel related, try a slower kernel or higher voltage.
