    One slight problem with CM7

    Hey guys, First post here, but i've been lurking around for a while. this site help me through rooting my Droid :P


    Well, with Beautiful widgets. I like to use google weather and geolocation. When i enabled geolocation, and created the widget, a notification popped up, saying that "The weather service could not find any close city using the GPS cords provided by the phone. Android geolocation system is temporary down or a bad GPS fix is provided by your phone"

    I've tried reinstalling, flashed to the older CM and it worked. Accuweather works, but it only shows my zip code and the temp is off by about 10 degrees.

    Maps is showing my exact location. and i've tried to force GPS on BW.



    Does anyone else have this issue?

    I use weatherbug elite and don't have that issue at all. Only GPS issue I seem to be having is with Google Latitude.

    Oh man, I had this issue. Good news is it sort of resolved itself on its own, bad news is until it did I never found any sort of solution. Annoying as hell.

    AWESOME! I Just tried it again and it's working. It was very annoying.

    I too use Weatherbug elite, it was working fine throughout all of this.

    Glad it's working for you. Once it started working again for me I never got that error again.
