Hate to admit it but after using my brother's iphone I switch over to that and put the droid away. Just got tired of the constant lockups, having to do battery pulls and reboots, screen freezes, screen studer etc. I thought it might be because of the mods but a coworker has an unmoded version and has similar problems. iphone isn't as configurable but it just works and while I am not a gammer the games are much better than any I found for the droid. Apps cost more but they all work, with the exception of google voice that locks up most of the time, lol.

It's a shame you based your decision on one of Android's oldest devices. Did you really expect it to be flawless with outdated hardware? The newer devices, especially dual core devices make the Iphone look silly in comparison.

2 of my brothers had EVO's and my coworker has a newer android phone but not sure what it is, got it about a year ago. I may come back to the android system, just going to give it more time to evolve. Some of the things it has that the iphone doesn't I had gotten used to. The blinking indicator light for emails and msgs was nice, miss that. Also the OAT in the top left corner was nice, didn't have to open anything to see it. There is talk the iphone5 may have some of these features, copy of the android? Who knows, as long as its a good phone. I had just gotten tired of trying to make it work. The last straw was when I couldn't get on the internet so I set it down, no big deal. The phone rang a few minutes later so I swiped it to answer and it locked up and I have no idea who it was. Then I was in tigerdirect during a road trip and played with an android tablet, same studder in the screen so I jumped ship at that point, no more battery pulls, can't now : ) The iphone is just so smooth, have to love it and like I said it just works and that is what I need, a phone that works with all the other pluses that come with it. Getting old maybe. Like I said, maybe further down the road I will come back to android.

That's legit. Android's not for everyone.
