Need to wipe personal data from phone

I am selling my droid so that I can upgrade, so now I need to clear all my personal data off the phone. The person buying it wants to keep the phone the way it is. Can I wipe the personal data from the phone and still keep my current rom and kernal or will I need to install it again? Thanks for any help.

If you do s factory reset it will still leave you rooted and on the same rom but wipe all personal data.

The theme will not be reset but setcpu is a paid app that is tethered to your Gmail account so yes it as well as all apps will be removed.

Yeah, basically go into recovery, wipe data+cache, and ship the Droid to its new owner.

And don't forget the sd card if it is part of the deal. You probably do not have a lot of personal stuff there, but depending upon the apps, could be some. If you are gonna include the sd, I would think about some kind of low level format. If there is personal data or has been, then an even more aggressive wipe, depending upon the nature of the data.
