Potentially big Problem with 6.1

Can't update with *228.

I can dial in but it says programming in progress but won't let me get to a keypad to hit 2. All I can do is hit the home button, then phone button and then keypad but it just takes me back to the previous screen where it says programming.

Try sliding out the keyboard and typing it there.

try dialing *22899 instead. this is a common issue with roms.
