Two smaller bugs I've noticed that I thought I'd share. One, turning on the lock launcher in memory from FIX: Reduce REDRAW with launcherpro/ADW *Credit to samsonite801 breaks the screen on animation. No idea why that could be but it happened immediately after I input that. Second when holding the camera button to turn on the camera I get multiple vibrations while holding it down. Not sure if any of the devs look at this thread but thought I'd throw those two out there.

Seems that the compass heading in maps is 180° out. It shows correctly on compass app.

Man! 15 flies. Just loaded Zeam launcher and no redraws here. Zooom! Fastest this Droid has run. And no OC.

Correction : redraws with Zeam just not as bad.

The newest Build (15) from winner00 seems to be running the smoothest on my phone.

Download the latest nightly and google apps (see link in OP) and save them to the SD card in a download folder where you can find them. Boot into CWM recovery. Make a backup of your current setup before going further if you have not already done so. Next, perform a factory reset and wipe user data and cache. Based on suggestions elsewhere, I would also go into the "partitions" menu and format boot and format system. Next, head to the "advanced" menu and wipe dalvik cache. Finally, install zip from SD card and choose file on SD card. Run the CM7 file first. After that installs, choose the google apps zip and install that. Once completed, reboot and enjoy! You will have to reinstall your apps from the market of course if you have not backed them up with Ti Backup or your program of choice. Got it all working and everything seems great so far.

Couple questions:

What kernel are you guys using right now?

Theme chooser....besides the background I don't notice it changing anything. Are there going to be theme downloads now utilizing this? Link for more info?

I'm using the stock kernel with the milestone app, I used the cyanbread theme from theme chooser and it changed most stuff to a cyan hue, button presses, overscroll, etc. Hoping we can get the status bar and lock screen themed here soon to the cyan color, I hate the stock android green. Probably won't happen til a stable release though.

Make sure those apps are in system not on sd card I noticed that and someone else mentioned it so I moved it to system and the widget showed up
