Protected Apps missing in CM 6.1.2

I've googled this to death and can't seem to find a resolution. I've got CM 6.1.2 on my Droid 1 and wiped before I installed the rom but the market is not letting me download any protected apps like the Bank of America app. All my other apps have come back but I can't even search and find that app. Any ideas on how I can debug this? Thanks in advance...

You may need to change your build.prop. Someone reported that it reported the phone as rooted to the market and that stopped forward-protected apps from installing, etc.

This came from my brain by way of my finger and my phone. Don't ask where any of them have been. Especially the brain.

I read some threads on that, but where can I get a correct build.prop file? Or is it something I can edit manually? I honestly have no idea what's in the file or what format its in. Thanks for the response, btw!

You can edit it manually, or you can find a precompiled (or whatever that is) one to install. I'm not up on the whole deal (since I don't buy any apps -- or at least haven't) but I know that's what someone did.

I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere for it.

were these apps installed on the SD card instead of the phone. If so that's why they will not install. I had the problem going from 6 to 6.1. I just restored 6 and moved all apps from SD card to phone then started the process over.
Maybe somebody else has a different solution.

No, that sounds like a viable solution for some apps.

I did at first but had the same issue so I downloaded the most recent stable release from the CM website.

did you also do a full 3X wipe? did the website version do anything? The only other thing that i can think of would be to clear you market cache and data under settings/applications
