Wireless tether

Is there no wireless tether option in Cyanogenmod? I was looking for the USB tether option but i cant find the options for wireless or USB tether anywhere? is this not built into the ROM? is there a way i can add it into it?

Step 2: Search "barnacle"
Step 3: Download barnacle wifi tether
Step 4: ????
Step 5: Profit.

well, I use wireless tether for root users for wireless tether, but i am looking for USB tethering. I dont need wifi tether and it uses too much of my battery

if barnacle doesnt work. trying wifi tethering made by open garden. For me, it plays better with my phone.

well if you cant find something for usb tethering. You can just plug you phone into your pc and that will keep it charged while its doing its wifi thing

I haven't looked for any free apps, other than PDAnet. The only problem with PDA net is after 15 or 30 days, you have to pay their one time fee or cannot view any secure (https) sites. It would work for me fine except my company's site is https, so I use WIFI and plug it into the car when I can.

this menu is what im talking about: It is the built in android tethering and mobile hotspot menu that was in many other roms before. is it possible to get this in the ROM?

I'm new to rooting and was wondering is this tethering app you are looking for free? Can verizon find out you are using it? Will you get billed for tethering like this? I know these are nooby questions but I think this is where I can ask.
