    HELP! Is anyone else having problems with Superuser?

    A little while ago I received a notification that my su binary was outdated. I had the option to updated, which I chose, but it won't update. I keep getting an error message saying "root access failed."

    Even worse I can't use any apps that require superuser access until my su binary is updated. HELP!

    try this... it's from when Jakebytes was missing root on one of the versions of CM7GB:

    Also in the newest build you need to put su in /system/bin, right now b2 has no root. If you flashed it and need root, I made this up real quick:
    MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
    Droid 2 sbf Instructions | Droid 2 sbf boot CD | Droid 2 GB sbf File
    Root Droid 2 GB OTA | RSDLite 5.6

    Droid 2 Keyboard debounce app     (fixes double letters on hardware keyboard. Try 20ms time to start)

    It's fixed now. Apparently it was a compatibility issue with the new recovery, which didn't flash like I thought it had. When the flash finally stuck, the issue with superuser fixed itself.
