Battery Troubles

On Sapphire 1.1.1 I hover around 30-20% for a while then immediately I'll drop down to 5% seconds before the phone powers down.

Switched to Cyanogen and it doesn't do it on there. Wiped data and cache while flashing back to 1.1.1 and it does it again.

Don't know but my battery life is fine with Sapphire 1.1.1

I had a similar issue with sapphire. I would hit 40% and then it would just drop to 10% or 15% rather quickly. It seemed to happen every time so I thought I fried the battery however upon switching to cyanogen 6.0 I haven't noticed it. Still want to play around more before making any determinations though as its only been a couple of days.

Yeah. I switched to CM6 this morning, and my battery is draining at a normal speed again. I went from 30, to 20, to 15, and spent a decent amount of time at each of those levels. As much as can be expected.

Did you see this thread just a few posts before yours?

I am thinking about trying it as I also see the same behavior you are describing.
