    here you go this is the stock image modified to be semi transparent.

    drop it in framework-res.apk>drawable-hdpi.

    Nice and quick work Bro... I think I'll try that one out to see how it looks compared to the smoked glass image (never did try keeping that image semi-transparent first)... Thanks...

    Well it's different... but I don't know if I could get used to the white transparency like that...

    I'll use it for a while, but I think I prefer the smoked glass png.....

    EDIT:... oh and BTW, didn't need to apply X's transparency patch.... as I didn't when I made my own customized theme for myself...

    i have a custom background i got off of droidpirate.com its called ice, and i like it lotz but would be so much better if it was transparent. How can i make it transparent? please help
