Random Reboots

I am getting frequent random reboots back to the white M...then the droid icon... then it loads up. I am running Sapphire 1.0 with the black glass 2.2 theme on that.

What could be causing this?

If, as advised by the developer, you wiped data and cache, then I would remove the theme and see if that resolves your issue.

These happen almost always because of kernels for me. Try a different one (different dev, or mhz). For example my droid used to dislike the 2.1 chevy kernels.

I did a complete wipe from .8.4 then installed the 1.0 and then put the theme on. I am using the stock kernal that came with 1.0 and .8.4 ran flawlessly with no problems.. so thats kinda what confused me

Then I would remove the theme. Just restore the backup you made before adding the theme and see if the reboots stop. If not, readd the theme and we'll look for something else.

You also might want to try the IV (or even SV) kernel as opposed to the LV kernel. I'd be more inclined to believe it's a kernel issue than a theme one, but one never knows.

Agree with all the above posts. I'd go back and remove the theme and just run the stock 1.0. See how it goes for a day or two; if the same thing happens on stock, install a different kernel. If everything is OK try the theme. This way you can weed out the cause.

I can say for almost certain that it's the kernel.
