Keep the screen bright in CL?

On the HTC Droid Incredible, I would like DejaCalendar to run continuously at the desired screen brightness level when the phone is plugged in (I do this at my desk at work). But after the set screen timeout, it drops in brightness to a dim setting (when the phone isn't plugged in, the phone goes to sleep, and the screen blanks).

I note that some apps (HTC's Desk Clock, for example) will keep the screen at the full desired brightness level forever as long as the phone is plugged in.

Is there a way to make CL behave the way the Desk Clock behaves?
