so it looks like gingerbread is going to be on devices starting at the end of november. Id guess verizon wont be releasing it to us d1 users.

ur right, droid1 won't. E getting an official gingerbread update. It doesn't have the required hardware....but then there's rom developers so u might have it

The rumor of the hardware reqs was already denied by Google and the Russian blogger/radio guy who said it clarified. It was a suggested list of requirements.
