    Installing new kernals (newb)

Alright, I recently rooted my phone and installed SS 4.8 w/ a ulowV .8 ghz kernal.

I am wondering, in order to install a new kernal I can just download the zip file, put it on the root of my SD card and install it using clockwork recovery? Is that all there is to it?

Yep. Doesn't even have to be root of the sd card.

Hell, I am wondering this too. I just picked up a new kernal and wondering how to install? If using Clockwork, do I install as if I am installing a ROM or what? Does the "update.zip" method work for these?

    TIA guys!
