Installed grey one from recovery...didn't do anything. Boot animation didn't change. How do I apply this?
Tried blue one too. No luck
I just reuploaded them incase I forgot to change a setting. can you let me know if it works for you now? also, where are you installing them to (data/local or system/media)?
android checks data/local first, so if you have a different boot animation in data/local it will use that one. so make sure data/local doesnt have a boot animation and flash this one to system/media

@stabl, it needs to be in system/media or data/local. if you put it in system/media then you need to make sure data/local doesnt have a bootanimation.zip in it, if it does delete that one
***EDIT: I added update.zip files to the OP. you can install those like any other update.zip, you just need to make sure that data/local does not have a bootanimation.zip in it

But with the regular zips u made I made sure I didn't have anything in data/local and moved my bootanimation.zip to system/media and when I rebooted it just came up like a lil android symbol across the screen and then went to my homescreen like normal....of course it still did the m logo though...
Update. Just tried downloading update zips again and worked fine downloading and installed in in the right place. System/media and it still didn't do anything. There is no boot animation in my data/local...have any idea?

This is an awesome boot animation! Had I not already put the Star Wars b/a on, I would jump on this (but I'm an R2D2 nerd from the late 70s). Now, if R2D2 popped up w/a Chevy 4.8 logo on him... <drool>
