I posted this over at ssandroid too, but I'm wondering if anybody else is experiencing this. First, changing LED color for MMS also changes email LED color. Second, I can't get any LED for Gmail.

none of that does it for me. I know that you "can" install this rom w/o wiping, but I honestly believe wiping is the best way to start with clean slate. No buggy overlapping data. Did you wipe when you installed?
I did not wipe... I guess I'll have to, which is a shame because everything else is working so well. So do you have an exchange email setup and it uses the default LED color instead of the MMS color?
The more I play with it the more messed up it gets it seems. Now I don't have anything giving me an LED notification...
Edit: restarted my phone and the LEDs are working again, even for Gmail, but still my exchange email and text colors are the same.

Update: I've done several reinstalls over the day including wipes, and I can confirm the bug is still present. However, my original report was not entirely correct. The email LED color is not the same as the MMS LED color per se, it's actually just using the last LED color that was used. So for instance, my colors are as follows: Default notification = cyan, Gmail = green, MMS = Orange. If I have not received a Gmail or MMS the email notification will be cyan like it should be. If the last thing I got was Gmail, the email LED will be green. If it was an MMS last, the email will flash orange.
I can't be alone here as it's even doing it on a clean install...
There isnt even an email LED menu under chevy tools.
There is LED color (default for notifications - if the LED does not change, it cannot represent the color you have chosen)
Gmail LED
MMS LED
For me...I have cyan default, green gmail, and orange MMS.
I think the answer to your "bug" lies in the fine print below the LED Color menu. I could be wrong. I dont recieve any email other than Gmail on my phone.
I am going to do some testing on them..I will report back my finding.
My findings on a short LED test.
LED testing
**Results shown for colors are Setting / Result
LED Color – Orange / See test 3 below
GMail LED Color – Stock Green / Green
MMS LED Color – Cyan /Cyan
MMS first / Gmail w/o clearing MMS notification SEE TEST 4 – Cyan LED first..most recent notification takes over. So…it was blinking Cyan…then it started blinking Green for the gmail notification.
TEST 1 - Gmail. Sent myself a Gmail from yahoo account. LED result [Green]
TEST 2 - MMS. Have my woman send me a text. LED result [Cyan]
TEST 3 - Tried several test methods to find out what the LED Color setting does. Nothing seemed to confirm it. I did a calendar notification…LED did not blink. I sent a gmail to myself…to make my notification blink green first…while it was blinking I did a calendar notification…no color change. Still blinked Green..
TEST 4 - Sent a Gmail to my phone again…while leaving the MMS notification LED blinking. LED result [Changed from current LED notification color cyan, to the most recent notification color for gmail…Green]
Chevy...can you elaborate for me the function of the LED Color menu and what exactly this means in fine print on the LED color menu?
default for notifications - if the LED does not change, it cannot represent the color you have chosen
Topmost 'LED Color' is supposed to be the color that is shown if not Gmail or MMS - apparently it's not quite working!
'if the LED does not change, it cannot represent the color you have chosen'
this really applies to custom colors - the LED light cannot represent all colors that can be chosen from the color wheel, ie 'white'. It can't even do yellow correctly.

Ok, thanks for clarification.
Did some more testing on them. I have set my notifications as such and rebooted.
LED color - Orange
Gmail - green
Text - cyan
Short version:
After reboot, first notification caused by a gmail I sent myself was orange. MMS notification was Cyan like it should be. I sent another Gmail...Notification was then Green. So far, Gmail and MMS color settings match selections (other than the very first notification color being orange even for gmail which was set to green)
Ive narrowed it down to the LED color setting. After confirming GMail and MMS are correct, calendar notification...No Blinky at all.
My Suggestion:
Go into chevy tools LED menu. Select your preferences for all three LED menus. Reboot the phone. First notificatioin will likely appear as your LED Color menu selection. Subsequent notifications will match your MMS and Gmail settings. Subsequent "general notifications (ie calendar, etc)" will only produce a ringtone...no LED response.
At least you will be able to differentiate General notification, MMS, or Gmail.
Its no biggie to me as long as I can differentiate MMS and Gmail. Only issue I could see it creating is not getting any kind of notification for a calendar event when in silent mode...since th light wont blink.
