ROM feature request.

I would LOVE to see the capability to turn on screen off media keys w/o having to go into chevy tools and media and display menu.

It would be awesome if it would turn on automatically just by long pressing when the screen is off. The initial long press and hold would turn the feature on. And long press volume down would turn it off.

Reason is because if I leave it on...and reach in my pocket to get my phone out sometimes my music widget starts playing music. lol.

anyway, just a thought I had. I absolutely love the extended media keys...and honestly I think it improves the safety of changing a track while driving. Certainly safer than unlocking the screen and trying to do it with the touchscreen. Its just...sometimes I forget to turn it on BEFORE I get in the car.

So...basically...Im lazy and forgetful. lol

You have customized everything else. Put your name everywhere. Also a boot logo. You roms have the features now it needs the label. There is SS phone dialer, notification bar, now it is time for the rest. Which is design meaning your SS imprint anywhere possible on the rom. Of course we still need the rest of the creations you throw at us.

I can't say that I agree with this. I really enjoy the rom, but I think that it looks much better without a logo pasted all over the place. Many of us like the stock theme just fine. And the X bootanimation is totally cool.

Just my $.02. But the request to change how to enable/disable media is something that I would really appreciate. My music widget often starts playing in my pocket...

You can enable this control in Chevy Tools-->Display and Media.

I see what you are talking about, you want to be able to control your music with your bluetooth headset.

What I was suggesting is the ability to turn that feature on and off externally...w/o having to go into chevy tools and check the box for it.

There is an issue in 4.7 with screen-off and BT controls. This is fixed in 4.8, works beautifully now as I used it on the plane.

How about long-press camera when screen is off to toggle the setting?

Does Froyo bluetooth protocols include Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)? This would allow us to control our music through our bluetooth headsets that would also have to support this profile.
