    WOOHOO!!! Hope you had a great vacation and thought about how to get compcache to work in your kernel.
    OG Droid w/ Pete's GPA16 w/ stock Kernel using auto OC script. (retired)

    LG G2X w/ rooted 2.3.3 leak.

    It's OK for your Droid to be different. Just be supportive and reassuring and it will do just fine. It's when you or other people point at it or mock it for being different is when its' feelings get hurt. Just show it unconditional love regardless of its' differences and it will in turn reciprocate that love and loyalty.

    It makes the girls want you more! Seriously though...

    It takes a portion of your RAM and then compresses it and uses it for background apps and more or less swap. So essentially you have more free RAM even though it takes a small chunk and uses it. Very cool stuff.

    yeah but i used saphire at one point in time which has compcace built in and i saw almost no differnce some people say it eliminates redraws but i had plenty of redraws and they were SLOW redraws to

    Same here with the redraws. Bout to switch to SS. Been awhile since I was last here. I heard it said that compcache is good if you don't reboot your phone very ...often. Which for us addicts is a lot of rebooting.
