+1 for not getting patch i have rebooted several times, still no dice. Want to try installing patch 1 manually as maybe have to have patch 1 for patch2 to be seen. Anyone know how to get patch1 ? I looker under patches folder in 4.7 sticky under goodies folder, seems empty. Any help is greatly appreciated

Just install like a rom, no wipe

Thats it, if you reinstalled 4.7 for whatever reason, be it to reflash kernel or the keyboard or whatever, it takes you back to main level, just download patch 1 and install from recovery, then patch 2 will work as intended. i cant get to SSandroid.com from here (at work) can someone post this in the bug tracker so chevy will know

I didn't receive OTA so I just did it manually...no biggie and worked great! I can now see MixZing in the dropdown so I'm a happy camper. Thumbs up to the maestro

I have a request. Could you possibly implement a "Check for Updates" script/button in your tools? I have never received an OTA update, and I don't have that file on my sdcard.

Oh i plan to, but in the future, I'd like to take advantage of the OTA updates that he provides.

Bit off topic but was curious about an option I thought I used to have... It seemed in 4.6 I was able to set it up so the led would notify in orange but messenger (text messages) had an option for their own color.

Reason being I work at a college and get a lot of junk/superficial emails daily, yet my girlfriends texts are rather important to me, so since my phone is on vibrate 99.9% of the time, it was nice to look at the color (orange being emails.. missed calls, etc, blue being texts) and know if it was even worth turning the screen back on.

EDIT: should mention the reason I said "it seemed" is that while waiting for 4.7 I tried out Lithium, and maybe it was that rom that modified the messenger to allow for a different led color than the default.

SS can only change the DEFAULT led color - this means that if you see a different color, it is the app doing it ... I don't have any options for different color for MMS for example - but will be looking into it

Ahhh, well thank you for looking into it... Loving 4.7 and thanks to Mattpfeil and y0rk, I'll be giving those a try and see which one tickles my fancy more

And xeooex is exactly right, I just tried this method of re-installing patch 1 and after the reinstall went into Chevy tools. It prompted me for the OTA patch #2, HOWEVER, it just sat at SPR and did nothing. I had to rename it to update.zip and then manually apply in order to get #2 going...

Chevy mentions that for his OTA's to be truly one button updates you must be running Clockwork
