Sorry should have said what im runnen. I'm using the lv1ghz. and i get the redraws like crazy.

Did you try ADW's "keep in memory" option? BTW, with the new update, that implementation was changed and part of it disables auto-screen rotation. Author says it will virtually eliminate reloads by conserving more memory. I am trying it now with the option disabled. I got one redraw just a few minutes ago, but still just one.

I have been using it for over a day now and I have had one redraw, but that was on the initial boot. I am using LaunchPro and I took ChevyNo1 advise and deleted the stock launch2 app. No problems now and it is very quick....

ADW + auto memory manager on agressive = no redraws.

I was getting no redraws so I turned it down to milid and instaltally starting getting redraws.

LP + Auto memory manger I still got redraws. Sucks. I have been using AD for a few days and miss LP.

I am a little disappointed with ADW's new "System persistent" implementation. It now disables homescreen auto-orientation completely... and if I don't enable SP, I'll get redraws (didn't take much testing to find THAT out.) In the last version, I didn't have to sacrifice either.

I'm sure this is affected by using Widgetlocker and designating it my default home app, but I don't want to give that up.

I guess I'll just deal with the homescreen being locked into portrait for the time being... because ANYTHING is better than getting redraws.

Then you probably haven't updated ADW in the last few days. The implementation was just changed.

I'm actually thinking of finding and reinstalling the previous version.

I tried ADW with SS 4.5, but wasn't impressed. I am sticking through with LP for now.. I tried these settings and its pretty snappy for me.. so i'm pleased.

Running stock kernel from 4.7 right now, at 1GHz/500MHz

I personally use launcher pro and I only really get redraws when I take it off my desk dock.

Also, having launcher pro's swipe gestures and scrollable dock as well a the ability to choose "activities" within apps (for instance, set a shortcut to compose a sms inside handcent) is what keeps me with launcher pro.

Still have gotten some redraws, but I am really not that happy with adw, so I'm probably gonna stick with lp

Holy crap.. losing the auto rotation due to ADW update was driving me craaazy all of yesterday. Couldn't figure out why I lost auto rotate for the longest time

I don't like the new implementation either, but it seems to be working ok so far.
