This is a discussion on installed ulow kernel, but it shows as low on about phone? within the ChevyNo1 forums, part of the Custom Roms category; I installed the ulow 1.25 kernel, but when i go into settings > about phone, it's showing it as low? it says 2.6.32-lowV chevyno1@ubuntu #4

shouldn't that be saying ulow? I actually installed it twice after I noticed it didn't say ulow the 1st time...
any ideas?

I think Chevy said it was just mislabled, u have the 1.2 ulv.

That is correct - next set of kernels will have this fixed!

Chevy do you have your source code available anywhere?
Also wondering if you can specify the voltages you are using for each frequency so we can see the difference between "ultra low", "low", "standard" and "high".
Thanks!!

At this point I do not have my code uploaded - in addition, I do not have direct voltage #'s - I believe some people have converted the internal #'s to voltages, but I do not have that formula

What about posting the hex values for each frequency?
By the way, the formula to convert the hex values to voltage is:
(hex value as decimal) * 12.5 + 600 mV
I've verified this from multiple sources - I believe it's in the Cortex A8 TRM but not certain.
Also sent you a PM if you get a chance to write me back.. thanks for your time.
