    Wired Tether in the future?

    Chevy, any chance of seeing wired tether in future kernel releases?

    If it helps you can download a couple of tethering apps from the Market in the meantime that work quite well

    I do have pdaNet and use wireless tethering to bypass blocked websites at work so I can load stuff on my phone

    Personally I use Easy Tether Lite due to it running better for me, I use it during bad weather and on trips. I had tried PDAnet at one point and had problems with my phone afterward.

    Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code
    this app works great, i just tested it on my netbook a few times and got around 1.2-1.4mb download speeds from speedtest.net
    This is over wifi of course
