What is a normal temperature i should be running at?

Hey Chevy love the job you did with this rom and your kernels. I'm running SS v 2.0.3 on your ten slot 1.1ghz kernel. Just was wondering what an average temp you run or anyone runs while browsing or moderately heavy usage. By the way I run 1ghz Max and 125 min. Thanks for response. By the way I'm seeing temps low mid forties.

    Thanks!

Running at 1.2, I see about 31C at idle - can see upper 40's with heavy usage ... you should see close to the same or slightly lower

try to keep it under 50c. a little over 50c for brief periods won't kill it though.

No OC -- 22 idle, 35 heavy load.

    800mhz -- low 40s heavy load.

Just as jasonb said, keep it under 50 and you should be OK. The chip is rated for much more, but heat kills electronics.

Mostly the same story for me. Low to moderate usage will put me in low 30s.. heavy usage low to mid 40s.. extremely heavy usage (bluetooth, music, wifi tether, sms, google navigation in maps, facebook and twidroid all at once) will break 50c. And I run at 1.25ghz max, 1.1ghz min with governor set to performance all the time.

With LW mid 30's idle, mid 40's running moderate usage. Browser tends to really heat it up (above 50). Running SS 2.0.3- 1.2/10 slot set max:1.1/min:8 govn demand.

BTW-If you set governor to "performance", doesn't that just peg the clock at the max selected setting (ignoring the min setting)?

Ok, so yesterday i thought, my phone will explode.
I downloaded the demo of this tower defense game and played for about 20 mins. Then i've noticed, that the phone felt hot, so i closed the game and checked the temp. It said 170 Fahrenheit. I thought: Oh crap, i just fried my phone. It ran without any lags or problems, but still i turned it off and let it cool down for about 10 minutes. I turned it on again and had no problems until now. Still, I've uninstalled the game. I also noticed, that the failsafe profile didnt work. So... well... no tower defense for me!

Usually my phone runs idle at 58 and while browsing the market 125 max.
