This appears to be a logcat from a startup, or towards the end of it? If so, I see mid 40's even while the phone is getting everything setup - if this logcat is from rest and seeing high temps, then disregard ...

You're saying that you see high 40's on your phone during the setup? I believe my phone had been restarted about 5-10 minutes prior to running the logcat.

You're saying that you see high 40's on your phone during the setup? I believe my phone had been restarted about 5-10 minutes prior to running the logcat.

Yes, while gmail is getting setup, media scanner is going nuts on the sdcard, etc ... mid 40's I think I've seen. Quickly settles down though if I leave it alone. Phone has been running for a while now, left it sitting for about 3-4 minutes, woke it up and it was sitting at 22C.

The only other thing I see is a few hits from the weather ... but it doesn't look out of control

I think I'm good then. At some point in the past I was getting ridiculously low temps so I guess I've expected that to continue. I think a lof of it has to do with the surrounding temperature. At the bowling alley last night while idling for quite awhile it was at 14C. It was pretty cold in there though. Thanks for taking a look at the logcat. I will probably load up the new ROM tonight to try the Helix2 Launcher.
