Since I did a data wipe...does that mean that maybe my phone doesn't see any version of Swype and that I might be able to do the beta version now?
Anyone have any thoughts/opinions on that?
There is a thread about this in the App section of the Droid Forum. It has a corrected Swype app for download. Apparently, the beta version that Swype originally put out had a problem.

Not sure what is going on, I installed this ROM last night and now I don't have Maps? I go to the market and it downloads but wont install. It was working fine before the update. I don't see it anywhere in the manage applications area. Any ideas?

Ahhh, OK. Try this. Uninstall Pandora (if you can't through normal means, then adb shell rm /system/app/Pandora.apk ). Then try to install from the market. Let me know if that works.
I already uninstalled Pandora from my droid. It is not listen under settings/applications/manage applications, and there is no trace of it in /system/app (checked with adb and root explorer).
Any other ideas?
same problem here...came from ultimate droid 6.5.3 ese53 and lost pandora...lemme know if u figure it out

Check this out from alldroid ... the problem is maps was in the base ESE rom in /system and it shouldn't have been ... my next release will fix this, but for now:
Go to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications. Click the menu, select filter, tap ALL. Is there an app there called com.google.android.apps.maps? (You'll have to switch to horizontal mode to see the whole name). If it's there, does it have a filesize of 0? If so, tap it and click uninstall. If it doesn't have a zero file size, reboot your phone and go back to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications, Filter, All. Now does com.google.android.apps.maps have a filesize of zero? Tap it and uninstall. Then go to the Market and install Maps.
Once you have that gone, go to the market and install Maps. Should work.
If after rebooting, it doesn't have a filesize of 0, then you're going to have to get radical. Either use a task manager that can find and kill it, or go into terminal emulator, CD to /data/data, traverse the com.google.android.apps.maps directory structure deleting files and removing directories. Then reboot. Filesize in Settings->Applications->Manage Applications should now be zero. Uninstall.

Check to make sure there is nothing remaining in /system/framework for this (probably not) but also check /data/data for anything Pandora related ...
Did you guys wipe? I'm thinking you didn't since you came from an ESE53 .. problem is there likely are Pandora files sitting in /data. Since the app itself installs to /system from the market, you lost that when coming to my ROM. A wipe would fix it, or search for the files as suggested above.

SS 1.0.3 - 25-27C
SS 2.0.2 - 25-27C
Basically, I get identical results. Have done a few 5 minute idle sessions and get the same results every time.
So what I'm suspecting is - any apps different between the two setups? Some apps tend to hit consistently. Even having more junk on your sdcard now as compared to then can make a difference. The media app starts at boot and scans EVERY file on your sdcard, looking for images. If you're like me, you've got a gazillion nandroids in there

Clean Install with 2.0.2 / 10 slot 1.2Ghz
Sat down for a while at stock, and now it set to 800Mhz.
And it doesn't look like it is normal, reaching 43C by installing 5 apps and make some folder on home screen.
Plus it remains 40 some degree idle...
Ok, been playing around all night with different kernels, slots, speeds, etc. Moderately heavy use, downloading, re-installing, re-rebooting, data wipes...
Seeing cpu temps reported as high as 68C (if you can believe it). Upper 30's/Low 40's in idle.
Think I've figured it out. Turned off live wallpaper and temps have dropped 20C to low 20's in idle.
Going to stay in static wallpapers for now. (BTW-running 2.0.2 - 1.2/5 slot)

I have the star-field Live Wallpaper from the Market... At idle my temps are steady at 25-27*C

Has anybody tried the exusMod Live Wallpaper from the market? When I do it keeps force closing. Any thoughts?
Also I have not seen any replies on the LED light. I have no LED light Notification after installing this ROM. Besides that love it!
