I'm about to try out your 1.25 kernel but have a quick question Chevy No1. Will it work with DM 1.0??

im having the same problem as joe. i think it happened when updating to 0.4. going back to 0.3

Strange ,,thats what I'm using, Did you wipe Data? All I did was Download the .apk for wi-fi, go into root explorer, sd card, short click on the apk and install...is it stating that the app was not installed?

Gang,

You gotta give Chevy a break and do some reading. In the thread title it states Ere25 only. If you are running someone elses rom and are unsure, check with the rom maker or thread where you got it. There are only a handful of ere25 roms out there, and the makers are usually very specific about that decscription.

As to the wondering about whether just clocking down your current oc kernel and "duplicating" the lower kernel install, methinks this will not yield similar results. Chevy can slap me down on this one, but he did state in one of his threads on Alldroid that there is some interdependancy on the oc speeds within each kernel, and he did mention in the op to try installing a lower speed kernel as opposed to just sliding Setcpu down.

Chevy is doing some fantastic work on kernels that will help ALL rom developers, so I would hope that we do not big him down with simple silliness like lack of reading.

its all good chevy. i just did a full wipe and tried wifi without the kernel and it connected fine, i then tried mounting the 1.1 kernel and it is still unable to connect.

BTW... this is on petes ere25 bugless beast.
