Smoked Energy 1.3 theme for SimplyStunning 4.6

(yeah, I know the link title is wrong - just the way he has it set up)

    for FroYo kernels by Chevy.
Any suggestion for a good stable speed for the CPU. Thanks!
Also which version. low voltage or mid voltage?

You'll need to do some experimentation. What works for me might not work for you.

My phone can't handle a 1.25GHz kernel (ulv, lv or sv) from any dev. Boot loops, random reboots, etc. while others speed along with that kernel. Just differences in production.

BTW, I'm running Chevy's ROM and P3Droids 1.2GHz LV kernel.

I am sorry if I missed or overlooked something but what is the difference between 5 Slot, and 10 Slot? I am looking to do update the kernel on my Moto Droid (A855).

Are there any detailed instructions on how to go about updating the kernel too?

    thanks

These are old kernels. Look here: 11/5/2010 - New Kernels

The difference between slots is how much you can adjust it. Say (just for example) you clock your phone to 500 MHz. A 5 slot kernel will let you set it at say 100, 200, 300, 400, 500. A 10 slot kernel would let you set it to say 50, 100, 150, 200, etc.

and if i could add a little note: 10 slots are a lil excessive. :-/ if your having it change between all these speeds, ur losing nano-seconds as it calculates whether it should ramp up/down. also, changing speed takes "time" as well. (before sum1 jumps on my case, i know, its nano-seconds)
it's been my experience that many people use a kernel higher then their targeted max speed. (ie: ppl use a 1g kernel, but max it at 800) thus turning their 7-slot kernel to an easy 5.
