Are there any effects if your running the 1.25 kernel at a lower clock speed?

As in bad side effects? None that I am aware of ... however, if you plan on always running at a given lower speed, you might want to use the kernel that best matches it.

I meant are the voltage increases there no matter what speed your running the 1.25 kernel. Are they inherent in that particular kernel or only when the clock speed gets up that high?

Voltage increases are inherent in all of my kernels, but only starting around 900Mhz ... anything below that is 'stock' voltage'. So you'll see voltage increases in all of my kernels at 1G for example.

I'm running the 5 slot 1.1 ghz on ultimatedroid 6.5, before I ran the 10 slot 1.2 ghz with no issues up to 1 ghz. On the 5 slot my highest temp after web browsing is 102 F.
