Hmm, so, dilemma...is there a solution for those of us that don't have ADB set up? rofl

edit: Nevermind, went to work, set up ADB on my work cpu, and did it... but I shouldn't be doing this all the time lol, any way to set up ADB on ubuntu or a mac? (2 cpu's I have at home, no windows there!)

Chevy I tried to load your kernel this morning thru spb recovery followed your instuctions & installed your rom, after restart screen went black wouldnt respond, or startup, pulled batt. went back into restore/backup & reloaded SG 5.0. Did I miss something, do I need to wipe it first then install yours thru nandroid folder? Thank you sir, for all your hard work!!!! Patrick.

Have you been able to run any of my previous kernels? Since you're coming from SG5.0 ( believe it is 2.0.1) did you wipe?

Yes, you have to completely wipe coming from 2.0.1 - so you will lose all your apps. This means you should have them backed up via Astro or like tool ... that way you can reinstall once my ROM is loaded.

I came from SSv.1.0.3 and had to wipe data otherwise I got boot loops, just a quick comment. My market is bugging out so I went back to 1.0.3 (I fixed the market using the file in the OP, it is just a personal market issue with purchased items that I did yesterday, they didn't show up as purchased since it is still within the 24 hour return period, so after 24 hours I'll go back to beta v2.0). I think I'm gonna stick with this ROM, tired of switching so often between BB and Adamz and this one...gotta cut the umbilical cord!

Is there a way to rip the 2.0.0 lock screen from Adamz ROM and run it on this one though? I prefer that style due to my big hands not easily swiping in a straight line, curved is better lol

Yes, since this is a very different 2.1 build, even coming from my previous versions, really should wipe. I had to.

Tried the old lock screen, it leaves a weird image at the top of the screen - can only imagine it's due to the different 2.1 build. So that doesn't appear to work yet.

I am quite impressed with how this ROM has turned out. It's what I'll be running full-time, everything but Launcher2 works!!

Makes you wonder why they yanked it in January, it does seem a pretty solid 2.1 build for sure.
