Trying to Set Ringtone, Not Scanning for Them
I created a ringtone for my OG Droid running Simply Stunning 5.6, and usually it detects my ringtone folder on the root of my SD card. It's not though. How can I force it to scan or find the ringtones I have?

Do you have handcent installed? This texting app will let you use different ringtones, not just the ones that come with SS 5.6.

I have Chomp installed and updated.
Also I noticed, the ringtones I have for text show up (there is just two of them total), but nothing else. I will try and find where I have those stored at.

What format is it? If its Mp3 you could try hooking your phone to your computer and use your computer to search for *.mp3.

.mp3. And I dont have a cable right now, am at work and left it at my apartment since I charged my phone last night.
Ringtone notifications are in a file called Notifications on the root of the SD Card

You might be able to do a search with the root explorer app if you have it, if not probably any file manager app in the market should work.

I hooked up my phone and checked it out. Ringtones folder looks just fine, just seems it's not being included in the system scan.
