Mp4 videos

Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue for gingerbread?
At first after installing a rom all my mp4 videos play just fine, both in browser and on sdcard but after awhile they all stop working like the video type is unsupported...I do try a lot of tweaks on all my roms, namely v6 supercharger, nitro lag nullifier, 3g turbocharger, and kickasskernel tweaks and removing nearly all system apps that can be removed. Could one of the tweaks be the problem or is it something else (just can't think why any of the tweaks should effect video playback)
Anyone else have this issue?

Swap/compcache and 1.25 GHz kernels, a few build.prop tweaks, and sysctl or kickasskernel script. You also have to run it a few times. My first run is usually 1550, second is usually 1650, third is usually 1750 then 4th is the top score although sometimes I get it on 3rd run...it's like how runners do warm ups lol

same here. my highest is 1823. ran it like 6 times to get that score. I maxed out everything to get it and currently dont run it that hot but i was able to do it.

I dnt get gow swap works. And doesn't compcache cause lag?

Swap is basically using a part of your sdcard like virtual ram. Whenever you open an app a small part of the ram needed to open it is moved to swap so part of it always stays in the virtual memory so whenever you use that app it's using up less real ram than without swap. However swap is NOT ram, its just not nearly as fast and efficient as having more real ram would be. Also the class (speed) of your sdcard can effect how well swap works too.
Compcache is almost the same idea except instead of a swap partition or swap file it takes a part of the real ram and writes to it like it would for swap except that it compresses it. While it also helps to keep regular ram free, its still not the same as having more ram because since the data in the compcache is all compressed it has to be extracted which can effect performance while its being decompressed.

Btw yeah compcache can cause lag, because it tends to get too full so it basically becomes wasted ram. However simply turning compcache off then right back on clears it out

If you don't have an sdcard with a Linux swap partition (you have to specially format and partition it to do that) then just use swapper2 from the market
