FB contacts, not sync'ing

Title pretty well sums it up....
I know FB has to be internally stored, mine is. I have the appropriate setting selected in the app its self, and in the fone. Under sync, all appears well, but contacts aren't displaying as the should.
I've never had this problem before.
I ran fix permissions (before and after) re-installing FB....
(I looked, and i seen an post about it for 5.3, but im still stuck)

Mine acts like a goof too. Not a huge deal but rather a small annoyance. Don't use facebook? Get on G+

This seems to work:

Settings->Manage Applications->Facebook->Clear Data->Clear Cache

But for how long, who knows. Let me know if that helped.

however, not everyone's willing to instantly switch, causing me to need both. :-/

After MUCH prying/digging, i've recovered half the pix????? (major wth here) In half there is a photo at the bottom (after i've merge'd the accounts), the other half doesn't have a photo at all?
This normally wouldn't be a problem, but i have 3 contacts with the same name! Not kosher, lmao. I've learned to rely on the pic's lol.

So, it would seam that if a contact doesn't link, "One" needs to merge the contact, view the profile (via contact reference) and then a pic will appear... Stupid.... but it's true/works/holds...

I'm glad you got that cleared up. That's way too much work for a few pictures, at least for me. I cleared the data and cache and its been holding since. Today FB released an update (1.6.2). Didn't see anything about it in the 'bug fix' notes though. That app stinks anymore and the UI is just getting ugly.
