Screen on/off animation question

    Question Screen on/off animation question

    I really like the screen off animation, totally sweet!!
    Is there ANY way I can get this to be the ONLY animation? I'm not very fond of the other effects (Screen flipping and such, no offense Chevy) plus, I could use any/every processor & RAM edge I can get. I think it was in 5.3 that it was an option some where that allowed only screen on/off to be the only animations...

    Thanks Rck. While im sure its unrelated, after doing so, i've lost the ability for FB to link with contacts... :-/

    I'm not sure of the facebook issue because I don't use it but I think I have seen that it might be a problem with the app itself. Anyone?

    I had it working for a while, then poof, nadda..
    I know that FB has to be internally stored. (mine is) I selected the appropriate settings in the app. Went to settings/sync in fone, Fb appears to be "sync'd", but my contacts aren't displaying as they should....
