    HELP please, droid wont boot

    Hi I was at work today, (I work in a water bottling factory...) I may have gotten my phone wet but I am not sure. There was no visible water on the phone or under the cover or battery. The indicator stickers are still showing not wet.

    Anyways moving on.... I pulled out my phone, it was slow to unlock but did okay. When I tried to scroll my home screen it would only go one direction. I tried to open an app and the phone was extremely slow. I tried to reboot but when the menu came up it would only let me select shutdown. So I pulled the battery and once the phone turned off I replaced it. I turned my phone back on and tried to boot. It will not boot into android (Bootloops with the 'M') but I can boot into recovery. I tried to wipe and restore an existing back up but it did the same bootloop. Then I installed a fresh rom and the same thing.

    Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

    sbf to stock, if its the same, time for return/insurance claim/new phone.

    Agreed. If the indicators do not show wet, then you are free to file a claim.

    I'd flash to stock also, to see if the same and go from there.

    Before you sbf back to stock, have you tried flashing a different kernel?

    You could also try wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery.

    Yes I have tried it all accept for SBF, that will be my next step. Thanks for the info. I have had the phone over a year and do not have a warranty.

    I think they mean "insurance", not necessarily "warranty"
