    anyone wanna give me a step by step?

    i have asked other places and it got lost in the thread before i found it. so im still on 5.1 and want to update to the latest, but i need to update my sprecovery to whatever new program i need to flash the new updates.



    im not sure which software that is or how to do it. anyone want to walk me thru it or point me to a link that does?

    first off, you need to download ROM manager and open that app then click on flash clockworkmod recovery, then reboot, download the newest 5.4 and open the rom manager app again and install rom from SD card.....and you should be good!

    You have to find the downloaded zip file (the ROM) it will be in/download if you are using the stock browser. May be somewhere else if using another browser to download.

    Using Rom Manager does make it easy to update your recovery to a compatible one.

    Need to use RZRecovery or CWM or you will bootloop or have issues. A lot of issues have been reported from using other recoveries.

    so rom manager is the way to go? i always liked flashing my roms straight from recovery.



    so if i chose cwm, can i flash it or install it or whatever without rom manager? if so, how? and is clockwork mod in the market?

    Here is the version of Clockwork I use 3.1.0.0

    Not a problem, glad I could help!! I suggest using a PC to download the rom, too many issues reported using rom manager.
