    Difficulty with transparent notification bar

    I've done quite a few searches and after a few hours I just can't seem to find enough info on this problem.

    I'm trying to get the notification status bar (at the top) to be transparent. So far any attempt using metamorph and any DLs from droidpirate.com are ending in constant FCs. I also tried one of the custom transparent pulldown pics from droidpirate.com using metamorph. They don't seem to work.

    Any help would be great!

    (using the latest SS 5.4 with the ota update #1 with no additional themes)
