Is there any way to adjust auto brightness levels? Auto brightness works well except when outside, then it never gets bright enough. Anyone know how to fix this
?

Auto means auto. Turn off auto and set it manually. Try the app brightness settings (its a widget). It allows you to set brightness on the fly. I use it all the time

I know what auto means I'm just having issues with it not automatically getting bright enough when ouside. It correctly dims in low light I think it should work the same in the other direction.
Yeah I'm using power control widget now to control it manually.

Auto means automatically. So unfortunately there is no way to manually change the light sensor (to my knowledge), plus it saves a lot more battery to keep auto brightness off and set brightness manually.

There are settings under CyanogenMod Settings -> Display -> Automatic backlight. They're alittle confusing tho.
