facebook uploads

This is a discussion on facebook uploads within the ChevyNo1 forums, part of the Custom Roms category; anyone having problems uploading with ss 5.4... i tried reinstalling... clearing data but upload is stuck at 0 ... tried on wifi 3g im running ...

    facebook uploads

    anyone having problems uploading with ss 5.4... i tried reinstalling... clearing data but upload is stuck at 0 ... tried on wifi 3g im running out of ideas

    help will be appreciated

    I have nothing but issues uploading to facebook with 5.4.I eventually get a photo to upload after rebooting numerous times. I also cannot seem to forward a photo from a text message either. I have not had any issues like this with previous versions.

    Never 1 issue. Uploaded 12 pictures yesterday and never had an issue.

    How are you uploading? I tend to have success if I upload from the fb app. If I go from gallery then share to fb I have issues uploading.

    i have been doing it from gallery .. ill give the fb app a shot

    Ditto. If I "share" from the gallery, it only works occasionally. If I upload through FB, it works every time.

    Possible that the oom is killing either fb or gallery before you are able to upload.

    Have you guys ran the "fix permissions" yet? I can upload from facebook and the gallery with no problems. When you flashed the ROM did you do a full wipe of the cache partition and the dalvik cache?

    Sorry about my post before this one, found out I'm deploying soon to Afghanistan and was having a bad day. Sorry again!
