I was truly considering retiring my Droid recently due to lag and just an overall lackluster quality in performance, but thanks to you I've finally found the ROM I've been looking for to show how Droid does. Much obliged, Chevy, I'm charmingly befuddled.
Welcome the club. This truly is an amzing rom. You may venture off and try others, but you will always come back to SS!

Strange, suddenly as in just this morning I have no data connection. The icon in notification bar shows a good signal and 3G but when I try to connect, no data. I switched to wifi, which is via mifi on VZW, it's all good. Heavy fog here this morning but mifi works fine.
I've tried airplane mode, re boot, *228, wireless settings.
    Been running 5.4 from day1.

And now, after changing to a fresh charged battery all is good again. Battery was at 30% when the problem started this morning. It seems to have disappeared with a fresh charged battery. Hmmm?

I've seen that before too. Not just on SS. Its harder I guess for the radio to connect when there's less power. I usaually just plug in and everything returns to normal.

Nope I have that problem every now and then and even rebooting doesn't help. The only way to fix it is to remove the battery and then put it back in. I have done that 2x so far.

No problems here, try wifi analyzer app and see if your getting interference from other wifi signals, you might have to change what channel you're using.

Got it back, had to re-input my password into analyzer then got back, thanks

Also having this out of range problem - no signals even show up in wifi analyzer though I am sitting next to the router. Re-entered password, no change running 5.4 with patch on D1. Wifi is on and PC shows wifi connections are available, am I missing something obvious?

Ok, your wifi is turned on on your phone? Even if your out of range, even though your not, wifi anyalizer should be picking up signals. I've noticed that even when I'm not home the app will still pick up other signals as long as wifi is enabled.

Hey guys, I looked around the forum and could not find anything about this. I apologize if it has already been discussed. I am using SS 5.4, and I have a small but annoying problem.

When I take video with my camera long ways, and I play the video back on my phone, the video image is stretched out (almost like stretching a standard def picture on a HD TV). The preview picture displays properly (not stretched). When I load the file onto my computer it plays it properly.

When I take the video with my camera held lengthwise, the video comes out fine.

Am I missing something in settings??

Besides this issue, the ROM is running perfectly! Love this ROM!

Yes, wifi is on/enabled and yes wifi analyzer is blank even if I let it run for 5-10 minutes.
