EVEN THOUGH it's my wife's birthday - I decided to drop this stuff todayI know it's been a long time coming. As many of you know, I've moved from Arizona to Maine - and it's been quite a journey. Went from a 2200sq ft home to a 500sq foot cabin in the middle of the woods - OFF-GRID. No electricity, no running water. So I've had a lot on my hands. And no job. So I appreciate your patience AND your support
And so does my wife, LOL!!
So .. without further delay ...
New kernels - they now include smartass and minmax governors - ondemand is still the default, and default clockspeed is 600. Logging is turned off by default and you need ChevyTools to turn it on. This means with it off, no logcat is possible (leaving you to enjoy faster speeds). EXT2 and TUN are built into the kernels.
And YES - these will work for both Froyo AND Gingerbread. Included in the zips are most common filesystem drivers as well. If you do not know what they are, you do not need them
Standard rules apply - if you load up, and get stuck at the 'M' - first wipe CACHE. If still stuck - try a different kernel.
Compcache is supported within these kernels - however, if you are using a non-SS ROM and have problems - you need to speak with that ROM's dev, as most of the work for compcache is in the ROM itself.
