Custom Ringtones and Notifications

Has anyone figured out how to make custom ringtones per contact work again? I am of course assuming that others are having this problem. I have ringtones setup for individual contacts however most of them default to the default ringtone (the ringtone set in the sound settings). Occasionally one will work (i think) but not normally. Somewhere I read that someone suspected that maybe the new profiles features may be causing this problem. I have attempted to insure that all settings in the profiles are set to default, and I have even deleted everything I can delete in the profiles section. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

I have done a wipe/clean install of SS 5.2, and that also did not resolve the problem. Anyone have ideas? Or this just a problem that will need to be resolved in a future (hopefully next) update?

nope. you're not. mine works intermittently. i haven't messed with any of the profile settings...but i lay it off to GB. it's a PITA but i deal with it.
