Navigator Turn By Turn Voice Acting Weird

I'm running SS 5.2 with a lv 1.0 Ghz kernel. I'm just noticing this issue cuz I recently had to use my Nav. The nav app works just fine but the voice is doing weird stuff. The first few insutrctions seem to work normal but it isn't saying street names. After it gives the first few directions, the voice gets really slow and deep and starts saying something that sounds like the app version number or something. Anybody else noticed this???

I'm running the same met up, and have had none of those issues. I recently used Nav extensively on vacation too.

I think the culprit is espeak tts. Apparently the new version of navigation and espeak don't vibe well. After scouring the web I found others were having the same problem, but it was solved after disabling espeak. I'm gonna give that a whirl after work and report back

Update: Theory correct. Espeak was causing the problem. Disabled it and everything works fine now!
