Yes, I have exactly the same problem, the playlists just vanish, they will not save for any length of time. I have mailed HTC and have only got a "factory reset" answer , which did not help the problem.

I'm also having this issue and it's driving me insane. Anyone know how to resolve this issue? Everytime I add songs to a playlist, the next day they are gone.
