Losing data randomly

Couldn't find if this was discussed or not but here is the problem.

Seems that the 3G and bars in the icon have 2 colors. When its white, data seems to not work, and when green data works. However, they switch between each other randomly and there are many times I have no internet connection. Sometimes to fix it I have to turn on and off airplane mode. I dont think i set any throttling setting or something like that. I have no idea what conditions set it to switch. Has anyone else had this problem and know of a solution?

I've been having the same issue, and it seems to be getting worse. I've found that rebooting fixes it for a while but it comes back after a day or two.

its a problem involving not having a gingerbread driver for 3g cdma phones. hopefully the fix will happen before development ends

Having same issue, if it continues, might have to flash another rom.

It's odd that some people's phones react differently. I only have the data drop on a couple of ROMs and Chevy's isn't one of them. His and UD are the 2 that's most solid for me.

I couldn't deal with this anymore, I had to fall back to Froyo. Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon and I can come back to this ROM as it's better than anything else I've used (aside from this issue).

its happened to me on EVERY GB rom....ss, gpa, lgb, ud...you name it.

Its extremely bothersome to me. I am also back to froyo at the moment.

Strangely, PE 4.2 is acting screwy with my phone too. In fact...just about every single ROM screws with my phone. I am beggining to think its my phone. Should probably flash stock SBF and updated OTA through verizon and see how it goes. Then just root again and keep the stock rom/kernel...and theme it.
