About LinkBacksNot exclusive to ss5.2, I've seen this on every GB rom I've tried. The weatherbug widget stops updating after a while. The weather channel widget works just fine. But I like weatherbug better, at least when it used to work (froyo). I've tried locking it in memory to no avail. Any thoughts?

04-02-2011 06:38 AMI've had issues with a few different widgets not updating, including SetCPU and Widgetsoid. I've locked those in memory in Chevy's tools and haven't seen any issues since. Try locking Weatherbug into memory and see how it goes.

04-02-2011 07:32 AMNo task killer. And weatherbug is locked in memory (which doesn't seem to make any difference). It's not on the sdcard, just regular internal memory install. Just seems to be a badly behaving app on GB. is anyone else using it successfully?

04-02-2011 08:13 AMLike I said this often happens but not always. For me it tends to happen when transitioning from night to day but not today to night. Once updated in the morning it works fine usually until it transitions to night. However since the update frg83g, Update I've been somewhat problematic for a few of my apps. I never had a problem before this last update.

04-02-2011 08:19 AMThats when I notice it - first thing on the morning. Since the amazon app store decided to give away the elite version this week, maybe I'll new try kick starting it once a day and see if that works.

04-02-2011 08:59 AMi'm just the opposite. i've been using the weather.com widget for a long time now. and the widget works ok but the app will simply close on a GB ROM. i've tried weatherbug, i'm not crazy about it yet. tho the elite version is looking better since it has better widget and color options. but i haven't noticed it not working YET.
